My name is Suki and I am only 8 months old. I have been in 2 placements
and am so happy to be rescued by WNY Shiba Rescue. Initially I was
bought as a gift to someone which we know is a bad idea.
My most recent placement was very nice except the owner did not
understand my breed traits so she shut me in a bathroom so I couldn't
not play with the other family dog.
I am now well understood so my final placement will be in a fenced yard
with adoptors that are Shiba savvy.

I am a Korean Jindo, much like the Japanese Shiba but a bit larger. I was found as a stray and rescued. I live in a wonderful home but I am an active dog and may need a home that will offer me the means to excerise.
I MUST be adopted by someone with a TOTALLY fenced yard, as all preditory breeds cannot be free without a leash or in a fenced yard.

I am alpha, as are all Shibas, adorable, and was abandoned by a family that failed to research my breed traits. I need a Shiba-savvy home with a fenced yard. Since I am a predator breed, I cannot live with bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs and other rodents that I would happily eat. I am spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and housebroken.

My name is Samauri but you can call me Sammy. I a little skiddish when I meet new folks but I warm up with time and love to be close and to have you rub my ears. I am an 8 year old red shiba. I am handsome, with my beautiful thick, red coat. I love everyone, dogs, cats, humans and I have so much love accumulated in my 8 years I cannot wait to share it. I will only share this happiness now with a wonderful, loving, foster family that understands shibas.
Samauri is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and neutered.
Dogs marked as "Adoption Pending" are dogs that WNY Shiba Rescue has tentatively found a home for. Applications are still welcome in the event the placement does not work out.
